Migration agents operating in Australia are required by law to be registered with the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA).

 

The Australian Government has legislated a "Code of Conduct" under which Registered Migration Agents are required to work.

 

The MARA administers the Code of Conduct through which it monitors and regulates the conduct of migration agents through their adherence to the Code of Conduct.
