Employee ProfilesDan Engles - Managing Director Qualifications: Dan is an experienced business owner and Registered Migration Agent (RMA) having been registered with MARA for more than 10 years (MARN: 0213485). He was the Managing Director of the TMR Group of Companies which provided immigration and recruitment services to employers across Australia. Between 1989 and 1996 Dan was employed by the Federal Departments of Treasury and Finance. He held a number of roles during this period dealing with a variety of issues including debt management, investment promotion, current economic conditions, monetary policy and balance of payments.
Qualifications: BA (Hons) Sheila is a highly respected migration professional who began her immigration career in the not for profit sector and became a Registered Migration Agent in 2005. Following the formation of Interstaff as a public company in 2008, Sheila was quickly promoted through the ranks to become the firms’ Immigration Manager, oversighting one of the largest teams of Registered Migration Agents in Western Australia. Sheila’s experience in this area spans a number of sectors critical to the Western Australian economy including oil & gas, resources, mining services, utilities and hospitality. She has wide experience in all types of visas specialising in employer sponsored, business skills, general skilled and family. Since August 2010, InterStaff has built a strong team and established a stable platform for growth and development upon which the company intends to expand nationally and within the Australasian region. Sheila holds a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours (Thesis focused on Australia’s Immigration History) from the University of Western Australia and is a Member of the Migration Institute of Australia. She represents InterStaff through a number of forums including the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WA), the Petroleum Club of Western Australia and the American Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Ms Addison Mai - Financial Controller Addison holds a Bachelor of Business Studies and is a member of the Australian Society of CPAs She has extensive experience in financial management and is a fluent speaker of English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Mr Andrew Emmott - Senior Migration Agent (MARN: 9791106) Andrew worked in the financial section in the UK and the Isle of Man before migrating to Australia in 1992. He started his career as a migration agent in December 1996, when he joined Australian Visa and Migration Services. In May 2000, he established a boutique migration consultancy, Advance Australia Visas Pty Ltd, which was subsequently acquired by Interstaff International in September 2008. Andrew gained his Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing and Commercial Law from Curtin University of Technology, and undertook his professional training as a migration agent through the Victoria University of Technology. He is a registered migration agent and a member of the Migration Institute of Australia (MARN: 9791106). Andrew specialises in General Skilled and Family Migration.
Mrs Bonnie Durmic - Senior Registered Migration Agent (MARN: 0531273) Bonnie started advising on Immigration issues in 1999, whilst working for Senator Jim McKiernan who was then head of Legal & Constitutional committee in the Australian Senate. She continued in Federal Electorate positions as an Immigration Specialist, before registering for private practice. She specialises in the employment/corporate visas and labour agreements, and is a contributor to the Migration Institute of Australia training paper on Labour Agreements.
Ms Nathalie Chu - Registered Migration Agent (MARN: 0960710) Nathalie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language from Beijing Language and Culture University. Nathalie commenced work with Interstaff in February 2008 as a trainee and completed the Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law at Murdoch University. She became a Registered Migration Agent in October 2009 (MARN: 0960710). Prior to joining Interstaff, Nathalie worked at the Immigration Section, Canadian Embassy in Beijing, China, then in a migration firm in South Korea.
Mr Percy Benjamin - Registered Migration Agent (MARN:0208986) Having over a decade of Migration Agent experience handling most visa subclasses, Percy is well experienced with a wide range of immigration matters. His experience includes Labour Hire Agreements and related HR advice to ensure compliance with various legislative instruments. Percy was formerly Company Secretary of a Merchant Bank and is experienced in Administration of Treasury Settlements & facilitating business. He was also formerly with the Corporate Affairs Commission NSW ( now ASIC) -Legal Division. Equipped to handle any business or personal consultation, Percy loves a challenge!
Janeaya Revels Janeaya holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Marketing & Management) from Monash University. Janeaya started her career in the migration industry in January 2009 and completed the Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law & Practice at Victoria University. Janeaya has a sound knowledge of corporate migration having worked extensively with a range of corporate clients across Victoria. Janeaya also has a good understanding of protection visas having completed IAAAS work at Scherger Immigration Detention Centre. Janeaya has a passion for working with migrants of all backgrounds and is consistently recommended by clients that work with her.
